On 27 April 2024, the air force conducted airstrikes which targeted and destroyed a Cotonou boat loaded with crude oil products at Akaso Krakrama, coded to Krakrama (Degema, Rivers). Illegal refining sites were also destroyed at Ke, Krikama and Egbema and Military Council Valley (coded separately). A total of 18 sites and 3 Cotonou boats were destroyed across the locations.
