On 27 April 2024, an IED planted by suspected ISWAP/ Boko Haram militants exploded and killed 5 Civilian JTF operatives around Gajibo village (Dikwa, Borno). Others were seriously wounded, other sources report that 8 operatives were killed and three were wounded.
