On 28 April 2024, in Pyin Hpyu village (Maungdaw township, Maungdaw district, Rakhine state), the Arakan Army (ULA/AA) attacked the Pyin Hpyu Border Guard Police outpost where the military and border guard police troops stationed with a bomb attached to a drone around 11 am. Separately, AA troops attacked the outpost with two bombs attached to a drone in the afternoon. Casualties unknown.
