On 2 May 2024, near Thit Poke village (Paungde township, Pyay district, Bago-West region), the People's Defense Force - Paungde Battalion-3601 carried out a mine attack against about 16 Myanmar military troops who came out of the village to shower nearby village at around 6 pm. Three military soldiers died and three others were injured in the mine attack.
