On 2 May 2024, civilians who returning from a fair aboard a cart struck an IED likely planted by the JNIM militants between Bombori-Sare and Dogo (Bandiagara, Mopti). Three civilians were injured. Dan Na Ambassagou militiamen deployed to the site and discovered and defused two other IED.
