A Georgian opposition politician was wounded by rubber bullets during a protest in front of parliament today. The Ministry of Internal Affairs denies the shooting . The party “Girchi - More Freedom” reports that politician Tsotne Koberidze was injured. Tsotne is one of the leaders of the party; in the video published by his comrades, bloody marks on the stomach and arm are visible on the man’s body. In addition, photographs of a man who was probably wounded in the eye by a rubber bullet are circulating online. Activists and independent media also reported shots fired at today's protest. At midnight local time, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced at an urgent briefing that it was not using rubber bullets to disperse demonstrators.
