The Russian army used chemical weapons in the Zaporizhzhia region, the commander of the "Tavria" troop group reported. According to Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, in the Novodanylivka area, Russian troops fired two rockets from multiple rocket launchers with shells, probably containing chloropicrin. According to him, there were no casualties due to the shelling. The Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons prohibits the use of chloropicrin. Russia is one of the countries that signed this convention.
