On 27 December 2020, a convoy carrying logistical materials for the US belonging to a contractor (Iraqi company and drivers) for the Global Coalition was targeted by an IED planted by Qasem Al Jabarin militants on the Babylon highway. No injuries occurred. Coded at provincial capital, Hilla.
