On 6 April 2024, Syrian regime forces shelled Kabani axis in the countryside of Lattakia with mortars, wounding several HTS members, including the commander of the special forces at Othman Bin Affan Brigade. On 21 April 2024, he succumbed to his injuries. On 23 April 2024, another member from Muawya Ben Abi Sufyan Brigade also succumbed to his injuries. 2 fatalities.
