On 19 April 2024, between Nyaung Gyit Pin and Kan Taw villages (coded as Nyaung Gyit Pin) (Pakokku township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Myaing (PaKaPha), Black Cobra Force Pakokku, THU RAIN, Sword King Group, People's Defense Force - Pakokku District Battalion - 10 and Myaing Garuda People's Defense Force attacked the Myanmar military troops which advanced to clear landmines around 2 pm with two remote explosives. 2 military soldiers were killed and some were injured.
