On 20 April 2024, one civilian was killed and three were wounded when a bomb attached to a bus carrying Shiite passengers exploded in the Kota Sangi/Pul-e Sokhta area of PD3, Kabul city. IS claimed the attack and said 10 people, including Shiite civilians and Taliban members, were killed and wounded when the bomb attached to the bus exploded as it passed through a Taliban checkpoint. Taliban didn't report any casualties among its members.
