On 22 April 2024, in Baw Ka Htar village (Shwegyin township, Bago district, Bago-East region), the military conducted airstrikes with Jet Fighters and fired three rounds of 155 mm heavy artillery shells from the Pein Za Loke military base at around 1:28 am, hitting and destroying some houses, classrooms and monasteries. 2 women were killed and 9 other locals were injured, split across six events (Baw Ka Htar, Hpa Yar Gyi and Kyaukkyi township on 22 and 23 April), coded as 1 in this event.
