On 25 April 2024, in San Jose del Guaviare (Guaviare), two explosive devices were detonated by unidentified individuals. The first explosion was after unidentified individuals threw an explosive device against a commercial establishment. But didn't cause any injuries to civilians or damages to the infrastructure. The second explosion occurred in a different area of the urban center and the detonation happened before the perpetrators had anticipated it, causing injuries to one of them while the other perpetrator was arrested. There were no fatalities.
