Around 25 April 2024 (as reported), in El Plateado corregimiento (Cauca), military forces threw a smart missile against an encampment belonging to the Carlos Patino FARC Dissident Front, which resulted in 15 dissidents killed and at least 12 injured. Hours earlier, a motorcycle-bomb was detonated in the area, causing damages to buildings and homes nearby (coded separately). Last month the government had suspended the ceasefire with FARC dissidents in the Cauca, Narino, and Valle del Cauca departments. 15 fatalities.
