On April 25, at around 5:30 p.m., the Taungtha Township People's Defense Group attacked the car carrying Htoo Aung and others, the leader of Pyu Saw Hti from Thanong Kone Village, between Ta Gyong Kone Village and Kyauk Pye Village.

"The attack killed 1 war dog. 1 captain was seriously injured and had to be sent to Thila. As for Pyu Saw Hội's car being hit by a mine, there are no known casualties," said an official from the Taungtha Township Public Defense Organization.
