An official from Taungtha Township's Public Defense Organization told Yangon Modern Media that 1 person was killed when a terrorist army stationed in Taungtha Township attacked an office and a car carrying Pyu Sawhti.

On April 23, at around 6:30 p.m., Taungtha Township Public Defense Team and Ma Hlaing Township Public Defense Team joined Taungtha Township. 1 soldier was killed and 1 captain was seriously injured when a drone bomb attacked the terrorist military council troops stationed in Okanagyi village.

It is reported that the dead soldier's body and the seriously injured captain were transported to Mithila via Mahlaing Township in 2 cars at around 8:30 p.m.
