On 31 December 2020, two unknown assailants threw a pipe bomb in front of the former Government Lottery Office in kwaeng Wat Bawon Niwet, Phra Nakhon district (Bangkok) (coded as Bangkok-Phra Nakhon), where People's Party volunteer guards gathered to sell shrimps in an attempt to ease the impact of the second wave of coronavirus of shrimp farmers. Four people were wounded.
