Two Palestinian terrorists who were attempting to launch rockets at Israel were killed in an airstrike in the central Gaza Strip, the military says.

The IDF says the pair were spotted by troops of the Nahal Brigade in the central Gaza corridor, before a fighter jet was called in to strike them, along with the rocket launcher and a nearby weapons depot.

More than 30 other airstrikes were carried out in the Gaza Strip over the past day, according to the IDF.

The IDF says one strike in Gaza City's Shati camp killed a group of Hamas operatives that had opened fire at troops in central Gaza.

Another strike in central Gaza's Nuseirat killed a Hamas sniper cell, the IDF says.
