On 7 April 2024, in Magway township (Magway district, Magway region), a combined force of the Southern Magway People's Defense Force, Magway Guerrilla Warfare, Peacock Warrior Guerrilla Force (Natmauk), People's Defense Force - Magway District (B-2), People's Defense Force - Upper Minhla, Yaw Defense Force, Key of Revolution and the United States Of Burma Army fired five rockets on the No.25 Police Battalion at around 6:20 am. Casualties unknown.
