On Sunday, 14 April, our forces clashed with Al-Burhan's militia and their mercenary minions in the Mellit locality in North Darfur. The RSF were able to take full control of Mellit locality, receive 46 military vehicles with full equipment, capture 70 mercenaries, and liberate the camps of Jibril, Minawi and Tambur movements in the area, while our forces are still chasing those who fled the battles, leaving their prisoners and dead to our forces. Immediately after the liberation of Mellit locality, our forces secured the local centre and formed a committee to protect civilians and restore security and stability in the city. We strongly warn the dissident movements against continuing to implement the agenda of the former regime, which seeks to destabilise Darfur, and we affirm that in the framework of self-defence and protection of civilians, and after these movements announced their departure from neutrality, we will confront any military skirmishes against our forces decisively and forcefully. The victories achieved by our forces today add to the series of great victories that will be immortalised in history among the battles of Sudan's heroes against injustice and the restoration of power and decision-making to the civilian component of the Sudanese people and the establishment of a state of freedom, peace and justice. Mercy and forgiveness for our honourable martyrs Spokesperson of the Rapid Support Forces #Democracy Battle #Guards of the Glorious Revolution
