On 8 April 2024, between 12:15 am and 2:40 am Sanaa time, US forces conducted strikes to intercept 2 missiles ready to launch on an air defense system and on 1 ground control station in Manzar (Al Hawak, Al Hudaydah) injuring 1 civilian. CENTCOM claimed that the missiles presented an imminent threat to commercial and US Navy ships. Houthi sources reported 1 raid on Manzar that resulted in the injury of 1 civilian and the destruction of his house.
