On 6 January 2021, anti-Houthi forces reportedly targeted residential neighborhoods in Wadi al Hawban (Salh, Taizz) with artillery. According to one source, Al Usayfarah, Tibbat as Sallal, and Sofitel areas (Salh, Taizz) were also targeted, and one civilian was injured in Al Hawban industrial complex. No fatalities reported.
