On 9 April 2024, in Kyauk Seik village (Thandwe township, Thandwe district, Rakhine state), the navy in Sin Khaung village fired artillery rounds two times between 9 am to 11 pm and some of the rounds landed near the cemetery of Kyauk Seik village. Some of the rounds also landed near the Lay Pyay Taung area between Kyauk Seik and Myo Taung villages. Casualties unknown.
