On 10 April 2024, in Mingaladon township (Yangon-North district, Yangon region), joint forces of the Dark Shadow and Yangon Urban Guerrillas (YUG) carried out an attack using mines against the Mingaladon Myoma police station located at the corning of Pyay Road and Kha Yea Pyin road. The mines were planted in the evening of 9 April and exploded in the morning of 10 April while the military troops and police forces attempted to clear them. The mine explosion injured three military soldiers.
