On 10 April 2024, a JCB operator sustained injuries, ahead of the national elections, in a pressure Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion, planted by Naxal-Maoist rebels, in a road between Kamraguda and Kormeta villages under theJagargonda Police Station limits (Sukma district, Chhattisgarh). The incident took place when the victim stepped on the IED while walking along the road.
