On 11 April 2024, Loi Yin village (coded as Loi Yin (Upper)) (Pekon township, Taunggyi district, Shan-South state), the Myanmar military launched airstrikes and dropped four bombs on Bi Kin and Loi Yin villages at around 10:15 pm. A 4-year-old boy and a 60-year-old woman were killed on the spot, while a 12-year-old girl died from injuries while on the way to the hospital. At least five others also sustained injuries. 3 fatalities split across two locations (Bi Kin and Loi Yin), coded as 1 for this event.
