On 12 April 2024, the Israeli military used heavy machine gunfire towards Aadayseh Marjayoun (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh) amid ongoing hostilities with Hezbollah. The Israeli military targeted a truck that was transporting goods, including food, for the UNIFIL as well as a news team for Al Mayadeen network. In addition, several rounds were fired towards a technician who was fixing the electricity network in the area. There were no casualties.
