Air Delivered event in Sudan on Sun 14th April 2024

On Sunday afternoon, the Rapid Support Forces randomly bombed several areas southwest of the city of Al-Obeid with mortar shells.

According to sources who spoke to Al-Changeer, the bombing led to a number of civilian deaths, including two children, and several people were injured, in addition to the destruction of some homes.

Since the outbreak of the war, the neighborhoods southwest of the city of El Obeid have become areas for military confrontations between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.

The fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces led to the displacement of hundreds of families from the neighborhoods of the city of Al-Obeid to shelters for the displaced within the city, while others fled to other areas.

On the other hand, Sudanese army warplanes launched violent air strikes on Sunday on Rapid Support Forces positions in the city of Umm Rawaba in North Kordofan state, central Sudan.

Sources told Al-Change that warplanes launched air strikes on Rapid Support sites in the city of Umm Rawaba in North Kordofan state.

In mid-September, the Rapid Support Forces were able to control the strategic city of Umm Rawaba in North Kordofan State. Which affected the arrival of supplies to the Sudanese army from Khartoum and Port Sudan.

The April 15 war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces has entered its second year without regional and international initiatives putting an end to the suffering of the Sudanese people, who poured in millions into displacement and asylum camps inside and outside the country, amid international warnings of a catastrophic famine striking Sudan after the infrastructure was completely destroyed.
