A mysterious marine drone with a powerful warhead was discovered near the Romanian coast in the Black Sea.

It is claimed that Cyrillic letters were found on the sea drone , which may indicate Russian or Ukrainian origin.

First, two days ago, Romanian border guards noticed an overturned boat in the sea near the settlement of Tuzla.

A ship of the Romanian Maritime Rescue Service was called to the scene, which towed the find to the port of Constanța, where it was examined by experts from various services.

Sources familiar with the investigation said that it is a former search and rescue boat weighing about 3 tons, which was converted for some military purposes.

An antenna for jamming signals was found in the bow, and an explosive device could have been attached nearby.

The boat was taken to the military training ground in Kapu Midia and then blown up .

After the planned explosion, local residents were frightened, and all residents of the area felt a strong shock wave. Army officials confirmed that these were the consequences of a marine drone explosion.

" The impact was so strong that the sound wave reached Constanța ," Romanian media reported.

Such an explosion may indicate that the drone had a powerful warhead.

This drone resembles a rigid inflatable boat (RIB), probably originally intended for rescue operations (partially retaining the red color that lifeboats have), repurposed as an unmanned surface vessel with a powerful warhead.

We will remind you that in 2023, the Russian company KMZ introduced the "Dandelion" attack marine drone, which is designed according to a design similar to Ukrainian drones.
