On 30 March 2024, Israeli warplanes and artillery struck targets and houses in the vicinity of the Nasser Hospital and in Khan Yunis refugee camp west of Khan Yunis city (coded to Khan Yunis - West (Municipal Stadium), Gaza Strip). Meanwhile, Israeli tanks opened fire in Khan Yunis camp and near the hospital. In addition, 20 Palestinians were injured (likely by tank fire) while attempting to reach their houses near Al Aqsa University, west of Khan Yunis. In total al least 5 Palestinians were killed.
