On 1 April 2024, between Ahr Lar Kat Pa and Wan Pyayt villages (coded as Ahr Lar Kat Pa) in Myinmu township (Sagaing district, Sagaing region),a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Myinmu (PaKaPha), the Black Eagle Defense Force-MMU, and the People's Security Force (Myinmu) carried out landmine attacks against with five cluster mines between 10 am and 11 am while they were clearing mines using bulldozers along Monywa-Mandalay road. The mine explosion hit a bulldozer, killing or injuring military soldiers. The combined force then carried out landmine attacks against the military with six cluster mines again on the same Monywa-Mandalay road for the second time in the evening.
