On 2 April 2024, in Moe Lone village of Mabein township (Mongmit district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military forces launched airstrikes on the village at around 7 pm. The airstrikes killed six civilians including two children and a Buddhist monk, and injured seven others. A monastery and several houses were also damaged.
