On 2 April 2024, between Htan Pin Kone and Win Tha Yet villages (coded as Htan Pin Kone) (Okpho township, Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), the Underground Guerrilla Force - Okpho (People's Defense Force - Thayarwady District Battalion - 3802 Company - 4) attacked the Myanmar military column of around 30 soldiers from the LIB-6 under the LID-66 with ten cluster mines around 9 am. The military was attacked while they advanced to repair underground communications cables in Win Tha Yet village which were destroyed by the PDF troops earlier. MPA reported that 11 military soldiers were killed and Khit Thit Media and Mizzima reported that 10 were killed. The military fired heavy weapons at the Win Tha Yet village following the attack but the weapon shells did not explode. Fatalities coded 10 as the lowest estimates.
