UAV event in Myanmar on Thu 4th April 2024

On 4 April 2024, in Nay Pyi Taw city (Nay Pyi Taw district, Nay Pyi Taw), a combined force of the Kloud (Drone Team), the Power of Ababil Drone Team, and the Taungoo District People's Defense Force Battalion 3502 (company 1) attacked the Myanmar military's headquarters with 16 Kamikaze drones at around 9 am. At the same time, the PDF (under the NUG) and the Lethal Prop attacked the Aye Lar airbase with 13 Kamikaze drones. The groups claimed that the targets were hit by drones and there was fire at the airbase. The groups also claimed that two military troops from the Aye Lar airbase were killed, and four others sustained injuries, and 11 military troops from the military headquarters were injured. Meanwhile, the military claimed that they shot down four drones and seized 13 drones, and there were no casualties or damage to any buildings. Fatalities coded as 2.
