On 4 April 2024, near Chaung Ku village (Pauk township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Pauk (PaKaPha) and the People's Defense Force - Myaing (PaKaPha) attacked Myanmar military troops who were lying in ambush at the Chaung Ku main electricity substation at around 5 am. The combined force used 15 rockets and 24 500g bombs, six 800g bombs, six 3kg bombs, and two 1.8kg bombs attached to drones during the attack. Casualties unknown.
