At least 7 people were killed and 30 others were injured in a car explosion in a popular market in the opposition-controlled Syrian city of Azaz, near the Turkish border. The Civil Defense Forces said that at least 30 were injured, noting that some of them were seriously injured and were transferred to local hospitals. Residents and rescue workers said that the explosion occurred during the peak evening shopping period after breakfast, and no party has yet claimed responsibility. Scenes broadcast by Syrian activists and local platforms showed scenes of the initial moments from the site of the car bomb explosion after it exploded in the middle of the main market in the city of Azaz.
