On 22 March 2024, in Nyaung Khet Kan (Ywar Haung) village of Myebon township (Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military troops launched airstrikes on the village and injured 10 civilians, including Buddhist Monks. The airstrikes also damaged houses and religious buildings.
