On 23 March 2024, in Tha Yet Taung village (Myebon township, Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes with two fighter jets around 12:30 pm and dropped four bombs and fired rockets. Two 50-year-old men were killed and one was severely injured. Other sources, DVB and RFA, reported that one was killed and two were injured. Fatalities coded as 1 using the lowest estimate.
