On 26 March 2024, between Kyaung and Tha Pyay villages (coded as Kyaung) (Seikphyu township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Seikphyu Township and the People's Security Force (Seikphyu) carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military convoy of three vehicles traveling on the Seikphyu-Saw road with six mines at around 9:42 am. Three military troops were killed.
