On 26 March 2024, Hezbollah forces in Lebanon fired several projectiles, including anti-tank missiles, toward an IDF base on Mount Meron (Akko, HaZafon). At least one of the rockets fell in Mount Meron, but the IDF stated that the rockets 'didn't interfere with the base's ability to function' and didn't cause damage to the base. In response, Israeli military forces struck Hezbollah sites 'deep in Lebanon.'
