On 27 March 2024, a drone from unidentified origin dropped a shell on Akhdu Asfal (Maqbanah, Taizz) injuring 5 civilians including 1 child. Sources were conflicted over the ownership of the drone with Houthi sources claiming that it belonged to IRG forces and anti-Houthi sources claiming that it belonged to Houthi forces.
