On 28 March 2024, a suspected Houthi landmine exploded in Al Quhayfah (Maqbanah, Taizz) injuring 1 fifteen year-old child and maiming him of his left hand. The source claimed that the landmine was in the shape of a stone that the boy used as he was grazing his livestock.
