#KurdistanBorders: Landmine Explosion Results in Severe Injuries for #Kurdish Two Kolbars

As a result of a landmine explosion at the Sardasht border (west #Azerbaijan province, #Urmia), at least two Kolbars identified as #RaoufAhmadi and Jabbar #Ahmadzadeh have been severely injured.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at least two #Kolbars identified as Raouf Ahmadi (39 years old) from "#Zoraneh" village and Jabbar Ahmadzadeh (28 years old) from "Kaneh Mashkeh" village were severely injured due to a landmine explosion in the mountainous border heights of "Balfat" near the city of Sardasht.

Sources indicate that #RaoufAhmadi underwent leg amputation as a result of the explosion, while Jabbar Ahmadzadeh sustained other injuries. Both individuals have been transferred to medical centers for treatment.
