On March 25, a joint team of State and Central Security Forces (SFs) busted a base camp of a valley-based insurgent group and recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives in Laingoubi areas — Wangoo, and Wangjing of Bishnupur District of Manipur, reports Northeast Now. The items recovered included - one .303 Rifle (modified), one carbine with an empty magazine, four 36 highly explosive (HE) hand grenade with tube launching, one country pistol, 10 bullet-proof (BP) helmet and three BP jacket.
