On 21 March 2024, near Pyin Wun village (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the military soldiers from the No.306 Artillery Base and military base (LIB-556) fired artillery rounds indiscriminately in the morning and some of the rounds landed on the IDP tents in the forest, hitting and injuring two 60-years-old locals.
