On 22 March 2024, Russian forces launched a mass missile strike at Zaporizhia, Zaporizhia region. A number of essential infrastructure facilities and hundreds of civilian houses were damaged, 2 houses were destroyed. Dnipro Hydropower Plant was hit with 8 missiles and severely damaged. One missile hit a passenger trolleybus riding across the Dnipro dam. 3 civilians were killed, 29 were injured.
