Yesterday morning (March 21), the coup army bombed a village near North U town in northern Rakhine state, killing 4 children and 1 woman and seriously injuring 10 people.

A 40-year-old village woman said that the army dropped three bombs on the village of Sey Leying Taung, east of North Oo City, after 8:00 a.m.

"The dead are five. A mother and three children living in the same house, and a person who fled the war from the city. "The other is a girl walking down the street," he said, who was also a neighbor of those who died in the bombing.

Among the dead are two three-year-old children. Two children, an eight-year-old and a ten-year-old, were among them, and the other woman was said to be in her 30s.

Three houses were burnt down due to the bombardment, and the injured included even two-year-old children. The deceased woman of the above village said that she was seriously injured until her legs were amputated.

“Our houses were also destroyed. The church was also destroyed. Because the children are sitting on the ground. On the house, everyone died. I got lucky. Otherwise, the family must be buried in the same pit."

"I can't even wear a saree anymore. The house was on fire. Now come the injured and amputated. A house is not good. Everything is on fire.”

It is also reported that most of the villagers are fleeing due to the bombardment.

In North U Township, which is occupied by the Rakhine Army (AA), the residents are being killed due to frequent air and heavy artillery fire by the Military Council Army.
