SAA event in Sibi, Balochistan area, Pakistan on Wed 15th March 2023

A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), associated with the Counter Terrorist Department (CTD), identified as Khalid Marri, was shot dead in an incident of firing occurred at the Check Post in the Sibi District of Balochistan on March 15, reports The Balochistan Post. According to the Police, one assailant, injured in the firing by the DSP’s guard, was arrested in critical condition. Police stated that the attackers opened indiscriminate firing on the vehicle, resulting in DSP Khalid Marri receiving six bullets. A senior journalist Mian Yousaf’s vehicle was also hit in the firing but no casualties or injuries were reported.
