On March 9, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) bomb explosion was reported at Shillong City Bus Syndicate near the Harijan Colony in Them Iew Mawlong in East Khasi Hills District in Meghalaya, reports Northeast Now and The Meghalayan. One person was injured in the blast. The Meghalaya Police has announced a reward of INR 1,000,00 to anyone giving credible information that leads to the arrest of any person involved in the IED blast.
