On March 6, security forces (SFs) recovered a huge cache of arms, ammunitions and explosives in Phouoibi village in Thoubal District of Manipur, reports Imphal Free Press. The recovery included one 5.56 mm INSAS Rifle, one modified 2 inch Mortar, two 36 Highly Explosive (HE) Hand Grenade, one Tube Launcher, one WP GREN No. 80 MK-1, one Tear Smoke Grenade, two Tear Smoke Shell Soft Nose, one Stun Shell Normal, one Cartridge 38 mm Anti-Riot with Rubber Bullet, one .303 light machine gun (LMG) magazine and one modified mortar shell.
